As part of EVI Lichtungen, the PopUp Wald Lernwerkstatt exhibition opens its doors at the following times:

Thu: 1.30 - 4.30 pm and 6 pm - 9 pm

Friday: 4 pm - open end

Saturday 4 pm - open end

Drinks and some food will be provided.

What is it about?

With the "PopUp Forest" project, the German Forest Protection Association is touring seven locations in Germany with a traveling exhibition including an accompanying simulation game on the topic of bioeconomy. Ideas for a sustainable and resource-conserving society are developed together. Young people and school classes in particular can take part in the interactive simulation game. An accompanying evening program is aimed at all interested parties.

PopUp Wald brings the topic of the bioeconomy into the city - because the use and development of biological resources will play a greater role in the future in view of the increasing scarcity of fossil raw materials. The project is funded by the Agency for Renewable Resources and the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Home Affairs and aims to raise awareness of the sustainable economic concept, collect ideas together and encourage people to think about our consumption habits.

The exhibition is open daily during the week from January to the end of March 2026. The opening hours can be found on the project website . Admission is free.
