Die Prinzessin auf der Erbse - Theater Tom Teuer

A play about curiosity and openness towards those who are somehow different.
Once upon a time there was and still is such a king. He lives happily with his prince son on an island. But the prince is missing something: a real princess. And because there isn't one on the island, the prince sets off, clattering across the seas in search of princesses. And he meets them: princesses, interested only in their beauty, dreaming only of sweets, never having time, always talking on their cell phones. Perplexed, the prince sails back to the island. There is no princess on board.
Dark clouds gather over the island. There is lightning, thunder, rain, storms and wind - a princess on land. At least she claims to be one. But she's not wearing a crown, won't let anyone serve her and even thinks thunderstorms are great. That's no princess! Well, we'll see about that, thinks the king and, what else, puts a pea in her bed, right at the bottom, under all the mattresses.
What happens next is something even the king has never experienced...
