“Essentially, from the very beginning of time, there was the Earth, and the plant world was intimately intertwined with it. Ferns, shrubs, and trees that, after their time, returned to the earth, only to become plants once more later on. Until one day, something else emerged among them.”

Not far from downtown Stuttgart, an allotment garden utopia has taken root between nature and the city: In this allotment garden cosmos, people and plants live together in harmony—caring for one another and following their own logic. But who decides what “care” means? And is it always in the best interest of those being cared for?

The puppet theater performance *THE LAWN MOWER* invites you to a short open-air show. It’s a balmy summer evening. An allotment garden with a prime view. You’re warmly welcome!

. The performance will take place on July 26, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in the garden grounds of the Gartenfreunde Heslach in Stuttgart-Süd (meeting point between Kelterstraße 42 and 44). Seating is limited. Please RSVP by July 25 to dierasenmaeherin.projekt@web.de.
