This is another opportunity for all Udo Jürgens fans to get very close to the life and work of their idol.

The musical journey through time includes all the great hits such as "Mit 66 Jahren", "Griechischer Wein" and "Ich war noch niemals in New York". Trained pianist Alex Parker sings the works of the unforgotten pop bard as if he were on stage in person. It is not without reason that Parker is considered the best-known Udo Jürgens interpreter in the entire German-speaking world. By his own admission, Parker began singing Udo Jürgens' songs at the age of 13 and imitating the nasal, unique timbre of his voice. In the style of the entertainer, he accompanies himself on the piano.

The amusing, entertaining and entertaining concert evening in the style of Udo Jürgens was put together by Gabriela Benesch, who was named best theater actress of the year in Vienna in 2014. Benesch, a long-time friend of the Jürgens family, will be on stage herself and will tell exciting, humorous and also unknown anecdotes from the great entertainer's personal notes - and trace an arc through the Austrian's life, from his childhood to old age. The concert evening is under the musical direction of director and author Erich Furrer.

Udo Jürgens, who won the Grand Prix Eurovision de la Chanson in 1966, celebrated a worldwide hit with the song "Merci, Chérie", which reached the top of the charts in over 20 countries. The chansonnier thus became one of the most important entertainers of the 20th and early 21st centuries. With more than 100 million records sold and over 50 albums released, he was one of the most commercially successful male solo artists in the world.
