Talyani's life in five versions: He is the owner of a jeans store in Beirut, a sought-after neurosurgeon in Italy, an enfant terrible of the Quebec art scene, a cab driver in Paris and a convicted murderer on death row in Texas. 42 years earlier, oranges were peeled and the Rubik's Cube was spun in Dair al-Qamar, Lebanon. Little Talyani has to flee with his family from the invasion of the Israeli military. What future will decisions and coincidences bring? The "inevitable life", in which "all words that exist are possible", takes place several times in Mouawad's play. With the explosion in the port of Beirut in 2020, the stories intertwine - the lives of the Talyanis interweave and form a philosophical, lively narrative that Moritz Sostmann will bring to the stage with actors and puppets.
