Paula is in her early forties, smart, sharp-tongued - and she knows that she has a brain tumor. She won't find out whether it's benign or malignant until tomorrow. 24 hours between hope and the abyss. 24 hours in which everything is suddenly at stake.

Instead of retreating, Paula throws herself into life with full force. She leaves her usual everyday life, gets into absurd, funny and painful situations, meets people who throw her off balance - and talks incessantly, as if she could run away from fear with words. Between black humor and deep despair, between fear of death and hunger for life, she begins to do things she would never have allowed herself to do before.

DIESSEITS is a contemporary tragicomedy about waiting for a diagnosis - and about the moment when you stop waiting and start acting. A play about being radically honest with yourself, about missed opportunities, spontaneous decisions and the courage to finally take your life into your own hands. Furiously funny, painfully honest and full of heart: an evening of theater that makes you laugh, makes you cry - and makes you take a fresh look at your own "this world".
