Dijon 's music reveals aspects of alternative R&B, modern singer-songwriter ballads and jazzy indie pop in equal measure. With both his song "The Dress" (2021) and "Skin" (2018), Dijon landed hits whose streaming views have long since reached nine-digit figures and made the singer famous worldwide. The debut album "Absolutely" marked Dijon's international breakthrough in 2021 and put him on several of the year's best lists. Pitchfork described the musician's direction on it as a "purposeful zigzag course", but also praised the album's Americana-obsessed heartbreak stories. Dijon has already toured the USA several times as support for acts such as Bon Iver, Boygenius and Clairo. At the beginning of 2026, the artist will return to Europe with his brand new album "Baby" after a long break and will also play shows in Cologne and Berlin.

Dijon Duenas ' parents met in the US military, which is why he was born in Germany and moved back and forth between Germany and the United States several times during his childhood and youth. As part of the duo Abhi/Dijon, he gained his first musical experience during his studies and laid the foundation for his career as a musician. After two EPs (2012 and 2016), Dijon moved to Los Angeles, where he found a new home and began releasing music as a solo artist in 2017. After the debut singles "Stranger" and "Violence)", which showcased the singer's alternative R&B sound for the first time, his first smash hit followed in 2018: the third single "Skin" became a hit with its soft sound between lo-fi R&B and emotional singer-songwriter pop and has collected more than 108 million streams on Spotify to date. This was followed by further singles such as "Nico's Red Truck" (2018) and "Drunk" (2019) as well as Dijon's debut EP "Sci Fi 1". After a collaboration with Charli XCX, whose song "Pink Diamond" he co-wrote and co-produced, and two of his own standalone singles, Dijon's second EP "How Do You Feel About Getting Married?" was released in May 2020 . With his debut album "Absolutely", the singer finally celebrated the biggest success of his career in November 2021. "The Dress" became the album's clear fan favorite alongside "Talk Down" and the single "Many Times". In March 2023, Dijon released the long-awaited single "coogie" and then went underground again. In 2025, the singer featured on Justin Bieber's song "DEVOTION" from the album "SWAG" and worked with Bon Iver on their album "SABLE, fABLE".
