Dinner for One

Everyone has probably seen the New Year's Eve classic "Dinner for One" flickering across the screen at the turn of the year. And how could you forget the eccentric Miss Sophie and her almost loyal butler James during their culinary rendezvous?

On December 27, Jörg Kleinau and Joachim Kaps will bring the cult cabaret play live to the stage and bring its unforgettable, pointed slapstick humor to the PETER EDEL. An evening full of the bizarre and nostalgic comedy for which "Dinner for One" has become so famous.

Content and characters

The resolute and self-confident Miss Sophie (Jörg Kleinau) is celebrating her birthday - a proud 90 years of citizenship, which must be celebrated properly!
Invited are her four best friends - Sir Toby, Admiral von Schneider, Mr. Pomeroy and Mr. Winterbottom, who are eagerly awaited for dinner. Unfortunately, the four of them are... very valid reasons... indisposed.

So the birthday would actually have to fall through... if it weren't for James (Joachim Kaps), the loyal butler who has been in Miss Sophie's service for many years. He is one hundred percent reliable: polite and conscientious, he always strives to please Miss Sophie and make her birthday a success.
