What once began with a little mouse has developed into a fascinating world of unique Disney stories and unmistakable melodies that evoke memories across generations. In 2024, Disney in Concert will delve into the musical cosmos of Disney for the sixth time and promises a magical live experience. From April 20, 2024, the successful show series will make guest appearances in Germany and Austria and once again present an outstanding cast. Several musical stars from the world of Disney will also be taking part this year:

In 1999, Drew Sarich was able to take on the role of Quasimodo in the world premiere of the Disney musical "The Hunchback of Notre Dame". In 2023, he already appeared on the big "Disney in Concert" stage on several dates. Willemijn Verkaik was already part of "Disney in Concert" in 2016 and 2017. From mid-October 2023, she will delight audiences as Elsa in "The Ice Queen - The Musical" in Hamburg and has shone as Kala in the musical "Tarzan" in the past. Lars Redlich was also part of the "Disney in Concert" family in 2016 and took the audience on an unforgettable journey into the world of "The Jungle Book", among others. Gino Emnes, who played the role of Simba in the German-language premiere cast of "The Lion King" in 2001, will now be taking part in "Disney in Concert" for the first time. Judith Caspari already enriched "Disney in Concert" in 2022 and presented songs from films such as "Hercules" and "Merida - Legend of the Highlands". Patricia Meeden can be heard as the German dubbing and singing voice of the main character Asha in the latest Disney animated film WISH.Andreas Bongard was part of the European tour "Disney100: The Concert" and performed from Disney film highlights such as "Hercules" and "Tarzan". RominaLangenhan is new to the Disney cosmos and will take over the moderation together with Lars Redlich. Further cast members will be announced shortly.

Together with the Hollywood Sound Orchestra, the star soloists will embark on a unique journey through the most successful songs from the most beautiful Disney films such as "Encanto", "Cinderella", "Coco", "Mulan" and "Rapunzel - Newly Reconciled". The overwhelming performance of the film scenes on the big screen turns the multimedia live experience into a fantastic adventure - more intense than ever.

This year's motto "Believe in Magic" promises an unforgettable show highlight for the whole family and invites the audience to be carried away by the diverse worlds of Disney music and to trust in the impossible. "Believe in Magic" shows how a firm belief can bring about great magic.
