How much light can love take - and how much darkness can it withstand?

Are highs conceivable without lows? And who are we when we have passed through all this?

With the concert program "Divina Commedia", Harmonia Leipzig, conducted by Norman Grüneberg, embarks on a musical journey through the big questions of being human. Inspired by the existential contrasts between hope and doubt, love and loss, departure and inner contemplation, a symphonic concert evening full of emotional depth and tonal diversity unfolds.

Powerful sonorities are juxtaposed with delicate, almost enraptured moments. The expressive language of symphonic wind music opens up impressive sound spaces - sometimes luminous and ecstatic, sometimes thoughtful and contemplative. The result is a musical journey through inner abysses and bright heights that touches and moves in equal measure.

The impressive architecture of St. Peter's Church in Leipzig provides the ideal setting for this: Space, sound and atmosphere combine to create an intense overall experience.

Harmonia Leipzig will perform this concert evening together with its young ensemble Kleine Harmonie, conducted by Carina Löwe.
