DJ Party im U-Bahn-Museum
In the organizer's words:
DJ John from the legendary Abraxas parties will be spinning funk, soul, and R&B at the U-Bahn Museum. Since the club on Kantstraße closed in 2009, the DJs have been touring various venues throughout Berlin, bringing the “Abraxas vibe” with them.
The U-Bahn Museum is located in the historic signal box at the Olympiastadion U-Bahn station. Starting at 8 p.m., you can enjoy the music amid ticket machines, ticket counters, and U-Bahn signs.
The decommissioned signal box overlooks the entire subway system. In 1931, with its 14-meter-long lever mechanism, it was the largest lever-operated signal box in Europe.
The party is part of the Berlin Industrial Culture Festival.
