DJ. Producer. Record collector. Pioneer: Josh Davis aka DJ Shadow has been creating and releasing music for over 30 years. The producer from the Bay Area became known worldwide thanks to his groundbreaking debut "Endtroducing" in 1996, a milestone of an album that consisted exclusively of samples for the first time. Since then, he has refused to follow a rigid formula for success and is constantly breaking new ground. Paths that have led to collaborations with artists such as Massive Attack and Jason Newsted from Metallica.

On his eighth studio album "Action Adventure", DJ Shadow shows a remarkable development as a producer and songwriter in 14 predominantly instrumental tracks. This album adds to his influential body of work and underscores his continued passion for discovering hidden musical treasures while searching for fresh, contemporary sounds.
