DNA Festival 2026: 2vs2 Kids Breaking & 2vs2 / Crews Qualifier

In the organizer's words:

The "2VS2 BREAKING KIDS BATTLE" is a young talent competition for children and teenagers up to and including the age of 16. This is where the next generation of B-girls and B-boys can exchange ideas and grow together. The battle is also the qualification for 67Jam Hamburg. After a preselection, the best 16 duos will compete against each other in a knock-out system until a winning team is determined.

At the "2VS2 HIP HOP BATTLE", the name says it all: this is where moves meet pure passion, true to the motto of dance legend Mr. Wiggles: "If you don't Bounce, Rock, Skate & Roll, Boogie, Down, Break with Soul - then its not hip hop!". After an intensive preselection, the TOP16 teams battle it out in knock-out battles until the four strongest duos are determined. This elite will qualify for the all-important final on Sunday at Große Freiheit 36.

The "BREAKING CREW BATTLE" brings international teams from the scene to Hamburg with a focus on tough, direct battles and real competition. The preselection starts on Saturday at the Kulturpalast Harburg. Crews of five to eight dancers will go head-to-head in knock-out rounds - from large, choreographed groups to strong individual or duo moments within the crew. Nothing is given away here, every spot for the final has to be earned.
