Monsters tear open their maws, colorful dots spray out of the depths - animation art showed its psychedelic potential early on. In 1832, the illusions of movement were drawn on disks - today the phenakistiscope has long since arrived in club culture. An intoxicating evening of optical-kinetic wonders in eight films and a live set by Sculpture from London.
