In the cuten opera Dollhouse by Clemens K. Thomas, nominated for the FAUST Theaterpreis 2025, singing, theater and digital aesthetics merge into a sensually ironic play about role models, reality and appearance. Between dolls, avatars and teenage dreams, a space opens up in which cuteness becomes an attitude - empathetic and vulnerable. In Dollhouse, a girl shares her room with dolls, a digital influencer and a polyphonic neighbor. Between Barbie glamor, social media illusory worlds and melancholic pop, the dollhouse becomes a mirror of our society: beautiful, absurd, contradictory - and deeply human. Musically, melancholic indie pop, baroque affect patterns, operetta melodies and electronic sounds come together. Here you can purr, glitter, growl and sigh - a play with styles, voices and identities.

Every year, the Bundesakademie für junges Musiktheater (BAJMT) gathers young talents from all over Germany to work together on a music theater production at a professional level. Here, young artists aged between 17 and 25 create art on an equal footing under the guidance of experienced coaches. They take responsibility for all creative and technical areas of the production - from singing and acting to directing, dramaturgy, set and costume design. The performances have been taking place as part of the Rheinsberg Castle Chamber Opera Festival Summer since 2021.
