"The opera of all operas" returns to the repertoire and the seducer of all seducers is up to mischief again: In the dramma giocoso by Mozart and his congenial librettist Lorenzo Da Ponte, the audience witnesses the downfall of the libertine Don Giovanni, who unwaveringly pursues quick sex and great pleasure to the brink of the grave. His irrepressible desire for the big life finds its counterpart in Mozart's music.
