Doppelkonzert: Alin Coen + Marlo Grosshardt

We are celebrating the end of the ACT NOW! series with a double concert: we are looking forward to the highly acclaimed Hamburg newcomer Marlo Grosshardt and Alin Coen, with whom we have already experienced many great concert evenings in the pavilion.

Alin Coen is back after her brilliant performances with the STÜBAphilharmonie orchestra last year. She is finally offering the opportunity to experience her live again in a smaller, more intimate setting. To kick off the evening, fans can look forward to a duo performance of Alin Coen's songs from recent years. But the program will also include one or two new songs that have not yet been released. Accompanied by her long-time band member Philipp Martin on bass, she will take the audience on an emotional journey with her soulful lyrics.

Marlo Grosshardt will then play with his band, who are known for leaving all their heart on stage every night. To accompany Marlo's raw voice and moving lyrics, the band changes musical instruments from song to song. Loud horns and strings transition into danceable rhythms. Marlo, who is about to release his second album, takes the audience on a journey full of touching musical stories. In "Ein letztes Liebeslied", for example, the young Hamburg native deals with his worries and fears caused by the climate crisis. He plays with hope and dystopia, but also invites you to dance - always with intelligent lyrics and often a little provocative.
