In the organizer's words:

This time, the film team is presenting a German-Belgian feature film from the year 2023. The film is based on a novel by Joachim Meyerhoff and tells the story of a childhood in the 1970s as the son of the director of a psychiatric clinic.

The Berliner Zeitung wrote in its review at the time: "This film has quiet, depressing tones, it sparkles with silly fun, and it conveys deep pain." and "If you don't laugh at this film, you have no humor, if you don't cry, you have no heart."
