Welcome to the village pub “Zum Klaus”

We cordially invite you to participate in our culinary project at the village pub “Zum Klaus.” The Storckshof is a beautiful Westphalian farmhouse. Klaus Koch, an architect by passion (who passed away in 1994), found the farm in a state of disrepair in the 1960s and rebuilt it from the ground up. 

For a long time, the Storckshof served as an event venue. And since May 19, 2026, the village pub has been located here. 

Klaus’s grandson, Hannes, runs this village pub. 

We always try to offer some kind of gig. You’ll see what we mean. 

We see ourselves as a traditional pub with good food and plenty of conversation. Just come give it a try. 

If you have any ideas for getting involved in the project, just talk to Hannes. The Storckshof is an empty half-timbered shell that can be filled with your ideas. There are no expectations—just great experiences. Whether you’re an amateur musician, a magician, an artist, a politician, or someone who gives talks—let’s do great things together.

    A beer funnel
    Campari Spritz
    Cyan and Pernod de Pastis
    and, of course, hearty food (Storcksbrot and a really good salad)
    as well as a play area for our little ones with toys and art supplies
    Dogs are definitely welcome—we’ll treat them to some free treats and have a special bar just for them
