Musical coronation at the Elphi

Dorsaf Hamdani is considered one of Tunisia's greatest voices. She has already sung classical Arab-Andalusian music at the opera in Cairo, but is equally passionate about working with musicians from different genres. Above all, it is important to her to pass on the cultural influences of her vocal art - these include above all the great female singers of the Middle East: Umm Kulthum from Egypt, Asmahan from Syria and Fairuz from Lebanon. Hamdani dedicated a very personal album to these three icons in 2011, which she has now translated into a concert program.
