Dortmund unplugged - Auswärtsspiel in der Pauluskirche

Dortmund unplugged leaves its usual home in Lange August - and finds a home in the Pauluskirche for the second time. On June 27, the special atmosphere in the heart of Nordstadt will become the stage for six acts, each of whom will show for 15 minutes how versatile and lively music from the Ruhr area sounds.

Among them are:

SERGIO GELSOMINO stands for poetic, emotional songs in Italian and Sicilian - accompanied by guitar, vocals and harmonica. His BaRock style combines Italian folk, rock and classical influences in a very unique and touching way.

HALLO JOHANSON sings stories about the wonderful and strange things in life. He is sometimes a silent observer, sometimes right in the middle of things. His melodies are there when you need them and take you in their arms. Melancholic but not hopeless.

KARLSKRONA - indie pop duo from Dortmund. When Pia and Robert play, neon lights and everyday life fade away. Their songs tell of feelings, time travel and dreams. Atmospheric sounds and two voices that make hidden longings audible.

RANFIS PÉREZ is a singer-songwriter from Guatemala City and has recently moved to Dortmund. He combines poetic lyrics with alternative sounds. His music is mostly in Spanish - he is currently working on a new album.

REIN - The indie-pop duo from Dortmund has been making music together since 2003. Over 100 concerts and an unplugged best-of album later, they delight audiences with German-language songs and intimate performances in unusual venues.

SHIVA - The musician, who lives in the Ruhr area, combines Persian, Turkish and Western influences in her music. With self-written songs and an unmistakable voice, she creates emotional worlds of sound.
