Double Up! Kunst und Design mit neuen Perspektiven
In the organizer's words:
Art and design come together in nine rooms, complementing each other and doubling the perspective on a theme. Objects, sculptures, photographs, paintings, furniture, ceramics and textiles correspond with each other and describe new content.
Each room offers aesthetic references as well as thematic links. The interplay of free and applied art thus reveals a new, non-hierarchical understanding.
The exhibition is a cooperation between the Neues Museum and Die Neue Sammlung - The Design Museum and was newly installed for the first time in May 2022.
Double Up! is designed for change. Individual rooms will be redesigned and refurnished at longer intervals, while others will remain for the time being.
