In the organizer's words:

HUMOROUS AND QUIRKY

Tom Bauer delighted more than 40,000 visitors with his musical persiflage Oschnputtl. In 2022, the art prize winner conjured up a new cabaret musical on stage with Drei Wünsche frei XL. And even though everything revolves around the Bavarian Purity Law, this time, too, it won't be at all serious, but will be humorous and wonderfully quirky as usual.

BAVARIA - KNOWN FOR THE WORST BEER IN THE WORLD

Drei Wünsche frei XL takes us back to the year 1516, when Duke Wilhelm IV has just convened the state parliament to pass what is probably Bavaria's most important document - the Bavarian Purity Law! But then Furunkula, the magic fairy, gets in their way. Completely by mistake: Furunkula is thinking about her shopping list for the weekly market: celery, tomatoes, chives, 12 pairs of wieners, Leberkäse... oh, who's supposed to remember all that? So she writes down her purchases on what she thinks is a scribble sheet. But strangely enough, it bears the signature of the great Duke Wilhelm. When the Duke later steps onto the balcony and the people cheer him on, she realizes what she has done: The Bavarian Purity Law has been completely screwed up by Furunkula. In fear, she conjures up a good 500 years in the future. And there is Bavaria, known for the worst beer in the world - and she alone is to blame.

THREE CHARACTERS - TEN ROLES

In his usual manner, Tom Bauer demonstrates his talent for bringing the Bavarian language to the stage with a great deal of humor and in rhyme. Ten roles, played and sung by just three people. The type cabaret is rounded off in a highly musical way with strong compositions and three-part singing - accompanied by a grand piano. With Veronika Frank and Sebastian Hagengruber, Tom Bauer has brought two professionals on board who slip into different roles with wit and charm in equal measure.

D'HOLLEDAUER MUSIKANTEN' PERFORM

What would a Bavarian musical be without brass band music? Helmut Schranner and his Holledauer Musikanten add just the right amount of spice to the evening. With tuba, saxophone, trumpet, bass trumpet and bells, the Silbersaal gets really lively. The four musicians perform their newly arranged pieces.
