Dreiklang der Gosse

In the organizer's words:

The artist Laura Heyer invites you to a multimedia spectacle with her piece "Dreiklang der Gosse". The idea came about when she was sitting drunk and completely desperate on a swing in a playground and suddenly had a conversation with something for which she had no other words than "God! This was followed by an absurd mind game and the words "God is a drunk" as the first of the script.

Do you feel lonely, isolated and misunderstood? Does your existence seem completely pointless in view of the current political, economic and ecological situation? Are you desperate and afraid of the future? The Dreiklang der Gosse can help you. We are here for you. We have God!

Together with light artist "Additive" aka Henry Skibbe, musician and sound artist Axel Pulgar from Buenos Aires and artist Johannes Post, a genre-breaking piece has been created over the last few months that deals with human existence and its excesses in an absurd and sometimes outrageous way. "Taking things to extremes" is not just a stylistic device, but the chosen methodology.

The costumes were designed and realized by Katja Stegemann-Jungbluth. The basic structure of the protagonists was conceived and realized by Axel Heyer.

In an almost childish way, a framework is created in which escalation is not excluded. Under the motto "Let's see what happens", it is actually impossible to be a mere spectator, as is usual in Heyer's work. The audience becomes a witness and from there it develops its form into something unpredictable. Artists, audience and space merge just as reality and fiction do. Activists and world improvers are put to the test.

The piece playfully explores protest culture & resource distribution, attempts to trace the process of personal radicalization and addresses the desire for spirituality in an increasingly materialized and capitalist world. It sheds light on the reality and significance of outcasts and displaced persons. It questions when a human becomes a human, when an animal becomes an animal and when a god becomes a god. The powerless decide how power is distributed. The end may be unpredictable.
