The Dresden Kreuzchor and the Kreuzkirche Dresden invite you to the traditional Kreuzchor Vespers with young singers on January 24, 2026 at 5.00 pm, which is all about young talent. In the Kreuzkirche, the youngest voices - from the preparatory classes to the 4th grade crucians - will present their skills to date. With a program of canons, children's songs and congregational singing, the event is aimed specifically at families with children of primary school age.

Vespers offers a lively insight into musical training: together with pupils from regional singing schools, the six to ten-year-old singers demonstrate how the joy of playing can be turned into professional choral singing. They are supported instrumentally by older Crucians and experienced teachers, while a Year 12 ensemble gives a preview of their time as experienced vocalists.

Whether at pre-school age in "Singing with the youngest" or in targeted preparation from Year 3 onwards - the path to becoming a Kruzianer is characterized by the joy of music and a strong community. We look forward to welcoming many young and old music enthusiasts to the Kreuzkirche to immerse themselves in the world of the Kreuzchor and share the joy of singing together.
