In the organizer's words:

Dear Jungle Palace visitors,

Summer is our favorite time of year: sunshine, anticipation of the vacations, a festive mood and the colorful DSCHUNGELPALAST SOMMERFEST for young and old. It starts at 12 noon and our visitors can expect a varied program. Enjoy culinary delicacies and the varied music program on the outdoor stage. You can go on an exciting underwater rally to discover the Feierwerk grounds, visit the various creative workshops, do arts and crafts, meet a troll in the flesh and experience an underwater adventure with the glitter scale fish. Come and celebrate with us - we look forward to seeing you!

To avoid having to cancel the summer party in bad weather, most of the program will be moved indoors in case of rain.

From 12:00: Relax with a cultural program
BEERGARDEN
In addition to culinary delights, a varied cultural program for children and adults will be offered in and around our beer garden.

12:00 - 18:30: Craft workshop for children aged 3 and over
COLORFUL UNDERWATER WORLD, material costs: 0 - 4 euros
We have put together colorful snippet bags with various craft kits for little crafters. Look forward to water turtles, seahorses and many other sea creatures.

12:00 - 18:00: Search game
UNDERWATER RALLY
Who's swimming through the sea? There's plenty for you to explore in our exciting underwater rally. Look out for the sea creatures and solve the tricky puzzles. All hard-working sea explorers can expect a lot of fun as well as a little surprise.

NATURE WORKSHOP, material costs: 1 - 5 euros
Nature provides us with the most beautiful materials. Create great cork pin boards, make beautiful shell boxes or mini mosaics on branch slices.

WOOD & MOSAIC WORKSHOP, material costs: 1 - 5 euros
In the wood workshop, you can try your hand at fretsawing and create practical and beautiful workpieces with an individual touch. Plywood boards can be used to create beautiful decorations or small storage boxes for your favorite small items. Create animal figures decorated with mosaic stones. For the youngest woodworkers, we have already prepared wooden figures that they can paint or stick on.

13:00 - 18:30: Studio workshops for children from 4 years & adults
SEEPFERDCHEN & CO, material costs 2 - 5 euros
Using colorful, patterned fabrics, you can transform simple cotton bags or rucksacks into enchanting underwater world bags. Little seahorses, glitter and clown fish can romp around in your underwater world - just as you like it. Or create original bracelets with sea motifs such as seahorses, shells and starfish.

DO IT YOURSELF SMACK TABLE, free of charge

13:00 - 18:30: Workshop for children aged 6 and over and adults
CRAFTS WORKSHOP, material costs: 1.50 - 3.50 euros
Would you like to learn how to use a crochet hook? Then the crochet workshop is the right place for you, because here you can learn how to crochet chain stitches. You can then use these to add the finishing touches to pre-made crocheted figures.

BRAIDING WITH PEDDI PIPE, material costs: 5 - 8 euros
Weaving cane into art objects is an ancient craft that requires hardly any materials other than your hands and the weaving material. Today you will have the opportunity to weave small baskets from cane under expert guidance.

13:00 - 14:15: Live music on the outdoor stage
ERIK BERTHOLD
Folk, classic rock, country & blues: German-American Erik Berthold , who lives in the Munich area, has been performing on international stages for decades. The singer, guitarist and music award winner presents likeable and authentic songs in Westcoast & Americana style by Neil Young, the Eagles and Johnny Cash, among others - but also traditional Irish music and international evergreens.

WURLIZ the little troll plays
SONGS AND STORIES FROM THE MOUNTAIN BROOK TO THE RIVER
A trollish participatory theater for the whole family. What does Wurliz the little troll do when he is still sleepy? He quickly hops under the waterfall shower and then it's off down the mountain stream into the valley to the troll concert. Wurliz sings songs for the children about the mountain stream, the troll flowers and the mist fairy. Wurliz plays his trollish jokes and is amused by these strange bipeds who don't drink water from the mountain stream, but from the tap that spits water. There's also plenty for the children to do at the troll concert: they jump, dance, leap over tree trunks and knock the couch potato out of his house.

A poetic play for everyone aged 3 and over with drama, dance, characters and live music
The glittering scale fish with its shiny scales is something very special. It lives deep in the sea and everyone who sees it marvels at its beauty. But the glitter scale fish is afraid of losing its unique scales. Of course, he doesn't want to lose them. He searches for a solution in his exciting marine environment. He meets lots of friends who are a great help to him and contribute to his happiness. Glitzerschuppenfisch would not have expected this and he realizes that together they are the "greatest".

WELFARE BROTHERS
As an acoustic duet, Derek Singleton (git, voc) and Ludwig Klöckner (b, voc) alias Welfare Bros. have enormous fun reinterpreting the songs of their heroes in their own special and unique way. The songs come from great artists such as "The Band", Joe Jackson, Bruce Springsteen and Hank Williams. That's quite a range: from foot-stomping rockers to ballads and from protest anthems to thoughtful country songs. It's amazing how much energy can be released and how much music can be made with just two guitars and two voices.
