I&I Dubwise Soundsystem meet SIMBA ROOTS ft. IYAH RANKS

I&I Dubwise have been firmly rooted as dub pioneers in Munich since their beginnings in 2004, in the midst of a now flourishing sound system scene in German-speaking countries. At Dubtown & Fire they bring you their own custom-made sound system including amps, effects and sirens every month and provide you with the best selection of steppers dub and roots reggae.

SIMBA ROOTS is a selector and reggae dub soundsystem pioneer from Istanbul. He started collecting reggae records in the early 2000s. He gained his first DJing experience in 1998 at the "Nayah Culture Club" in Istanbul. His first original sound system project "Simba Roots HiFi" has existed since 2013 and the crew around the sound system has been organizing the "Dub Club Istanbul" since 2015.

SIMBA ROOTS is the only active reggae dub sound system in Turkey. It has already played at the Dub Camp Festival (France, 2018) and the Dubwise Milano Festival (Italy 2013). A Mexico tour is planned for 2024. In May, he will play in Germany for the first time and perform together with Swiss MC IYAH RANKS at DUBTOWN & FIRE at Sunny Red in Munich with I&I DUBWISE SOUND. I&I DUBWISE are an "original soundsystem" from Munich, resident and organizer of the monthly DubClubs "Dub Town & Fire", which have been taking place at Sunny Red in the Feierwerk for over 19 years. The Dub Pioneers have made a major contribution to the region's now flourishing soundsystem and dub scene through the continuity of their event at the Feierwerk. They play reggae, roots, dub and steppers as well as unreleased dubplates, accompanied by the two MCs on the mic, with socially critical content in "eduitainment style". They always have their powerful, self-built sound system with them, which will shake up any location. This style is an experience! Not only audible, but also tangible. Enjoy Reggae and Dub Music in its proper way! Dubwise - no compromise! In addition to the event "Dub Town & Fire" at Sunny Red, music by I&I DUBWISE can also be heard - alongside that of three other crews - on the reggae radio program "Coming in Hot" regularly on FM and web on Radio Feierwerk. They have also performed in other cities and at festivals such as Komod Festival (DE), JimCamp (DE), Rototom (I), UNOD Weekender (UK), Dub Marathon (CH), Riding Higher (DE) and the Rootsbase Festival.
