The Dukes of Tijuana were formed in 2020 by guitarist Mark Twang, drummer Chris Slazy, double bassist Grischa, and singer Pat Savage—and have since established themselves as a true live powerhouse. The German band blends rockabilly, country, and psychobilly into a dynamic, high-energy sound that really comes into its own not only on record but especially on stage. Their blend of authentic rockabilly and 1980s-style neo-rockabilly is often described as “neo-rockabilly in the best Klub-Foot tradition”—full of energy and melody, and free of the usual horror clichés of psychobilly.
