KARLA are Alexandra Schedel and Nina Flieder - two musicians from Leipzig whose voices blend so harmoniously that they often sound like one. Their music moves between acoustic pop, chanson and jazz and tells with sensitivity and humor about what moves the two of them.

The duo tells stories that touch, make you smile and get under your skin.

In spring 2024, they released their first EP "Eins und Eins", accompanied by a four-piece band. The next EP is planned for 2026, on which they will venture into the world of synth and 80s pop. Here, their approachable, melancholic sound language is combined with danceable pop beats and promises a varied live program.

Their first music video was also released in spring 2025 - a declaration of love to their adopted home of Leipzig.

Whether it's a festival or a living room concert - on stages in various cities, the two give their audience moments in which everyday life fades into the background. An acoustic embrace that turns down the noise of the world for a moment.

Behind TJARK aus dem Frühlingsgarten is the Leipzig musician Tjark Schönball (known from the band BUBE, among others), who is enriching the German pop music scene with a small attraction with his new solo project. Tjark from Frühlingsgarten tells his own personal stories in his songs, which are both touching and recognizable. The musician is characterized by a thematic and stylistic diversity that, despite the immediately tangible and accessible stories, is far removed from any clichés.

In the song "Wie man sich entscheidet", for example, Tjark poses the question of the balance between hurrying and lingering in a world in which and through which things and people - like Tjark himself - move increasingly restlessly. In the solemn piano ballad "Omas Garten", he deals with the universal experience of the slow and yet irretrievable loss of a loved one through his grandmother's dementia. Songs like "Mr. Sicher Sicher", on the other hand, which tells the story of the development of the first bourgeois character traits of growing up with a wink and is reminiscent of a mixture of Bilderbuch and Kraftklub, will make you break out in a sweat.

Stylistically, Tjark brings a colorful and full bouquet of flowers from the spring garden, ranging from guitar-accompanied singer-songwriter songs to rockier sounds and danceable disco tracks with shimmering synths. His debut EP will be released in early summer 2026, which he will present as part of a tour with the Leipzig duo KARLA.
