'Duo:Do' is your after-work time at PACT! As part of this popular series, we invite you to a reading and concert in the foyer of the former Waschkaue on selected Thursdays. With drinks at the bar, inspiring texts and electrifying sounds, Thursdays already feel a bit like the weekend.

We start the new year on March 5 with Canberk Köktürk, author and child of a Turkish migrant worker family in the Ruhr area, who has written for newspapers, TV and internet formats, among others. In 'Fascholand', he embarks on an autobiographical-investigative journey through a Germany that teaches fear not only to people with a history of migration: hatred and agitation, a shift to the right and racism are poisoning the country, and Köktürk's witty tone, drenched in biting humor, helps to understand how dangerous the situation has become.

The reading will be followed by a concert with Violet Heat from Cologne. The band, formerly known as Vomit Heat, will heat things up with alternative sounds.

On June 25, we continue with beats and books - including a reading with meme queen Svea Mausolf.
