In Duos / Collisions and Combustions, the dancers' bodies present themselves as living art objects in the museum space. Choreographic objects are created in the form of duets, which can be viewed from different angles like moving sculptures and focus on the encounter between two bodies. Between "collision" and "combustion", the ephemeral works of art tell stories, convey sensations and question the relationship between body, matter, energy and form.
Each presentation of this work is new and unique, as the duos naturally enter into a dialog with the respective architecture and the surrounding works of visual art. In Bonn, Michèle Murray's duos meet the colorful "Studio Paintings" by Katharina Grosse and promise a highly dynamic encounter.
