Early Night Singing

In the organizer's words:

"Early Night Singing" - elbsommer HafenCity Edition 2026 invites you to musical summer evenings in the open air at Strandhöft. Inspired by the successful series on Fanny-Mendelssohn-Platz in summer 2025 to mark the "750 years of Eimsbüttel" anniversary, a place full of warmth, openness and spontaneous encounters is being created here. What counts here is neither talent nor previous experience - but the joy of singing together.

All generations come together to experience songs from pop, rock, Beatles, German and international classics. Led by Juan Luis Merinero - musician and initiator - the songs are not only performed, but above all sung together. Each evening invites you to join in and develops an emotional dynamic that makes you forget your everyday life.

As a young, urban backdrop, HafenCity and the Strandhöft offer ideal conditions for informal participation - low-threshold, barrier-free and accessible to everyone. Whether children, senior citizens, tourists or neighbors: singing along connects people, creates new contacts and provides lasting moments of happiness. The magic of the moment, the mosaic of voices and the growing community make "Early Night Singing" in elbsommer 2026 a unique cultural highlight for the district and the whole of Hamburg.
