Eating Clouds has two meanings, but only one was actually meant by the band's name: eating clouds. Which has the advantage that the meal comes across as light.
The group sounds similar: cheerful, and only very rarely cloudy. The five musicians, who are more or less Munich natives, play cover songs and original songs by guitarist Gerhard Summer across the vegetable patch: sometimes blues, sometimes rock, pop, country, indie... and always with a sense of fun.
Sometimes melodic, but not too much, sometimes with a lot of tempo, forced by drummer Peter Fischer, accompanied by keyboarder Martin Adler, rhythmically oriented by bassist Harry Gänslein and always with the vocals of Susi Summer.
If it's nice, maybe open air.
