Ebb & Flow meets BAAST!

We invite you to a joint concert evening featuring the Danish-American power band Ebb & Flow and the Hamburg-based a cappella pop choir BAAST!

BAAST!

BAAST! is a five-part a cappella pop choir from Hamburg with about 30 singers. From the very beginning, musical director Ramon Lazzaroni has shaped the choir’s sound through his song selection as well as his intricate and unconventional arrangements.

This work was recognized last year by a panel of experts: At the 2025 German Choral Festival in Nuremberg, BAAST!—together with the choir HOME—took an outstanding 5th place in the Jazz/Pop II category of the competition.

BAAST! was founded in March 2013 as a civil law partnership (GbR). The name is composed of the initial letters of the sections: Bass, Alto 1, Alto 2, Soprano, and Tenor. Their repertoire includes songs by Hozier, Jimi Hendrix, Britney Spears, Goldfrapp, and Sophie Hunger, as well as songs by the Hamburg-based musician Mimi Schell, with whom BAAST! had the opportunity to perform and record in the studio.

The Danish-American power band is back on the road in Germany. On their “Phase II” tour, the three seasoned professionals captivate audiences with fantastic voices, a rousing groove, and their own profound,

pop-soul songs. Ebb & Flow have performed in Hamburg many times before—but this is their first time at the Tschaikowskysaal—and they bring a genuine Copenhagen/Los Angeles vibe with them.
