We have two international acts for you at our second Ebertplatz concert this year: Housepainters from Amsterdam and World Brain from Belgium. As always, free & outside!

>> HOUSE PAINTERS - The Amsterdam-based three-piece band treads a middle ground between wave, disco and dub, combining to create dark yet upbeat melodies. Hypnotic electronic rhythms and undulating, echo-soaked vocals. The first 7-inch single, "Fixed Position", was released on the Swiss label Bongo Joe Records. Their debut full-length album is expected in spring 2024. Housepainters consists of Anna Fleuri, Tom Ogilvie and Marnix Wilmink.

>>WORLD BRAIN - The solo project of Lucas Ufo from Belgium mixes catchy melodies with retro vibes and lo-fi charm. Known for his band Fenster, Lucas Ufo creates a nostalgic pop world with World Brain that is both inspired by the 80s and futuristic at the same time. His 2019 single "Network", a guitar homage to high-speed internet, and his album "Peer 2 Peer" combine digital romance with catchy beats. The tracks explore themes from online connections to universal truths, all wrapped up in sweet, whimsical pop sounds.

>> EBERTPLATKONZERTE - Since 2019, concerts have been held regularly on Ebertplatz during the summer months as part of the interim use of Ebertplatz. While acts and genres change, Thursday evenings remain a constant for the Ebertplatz concerts. All concerts are free of charge and are jointly organized by Unser Ebertplatz and FDV Veranstaltungstechnik with changing curators.
