Moments of Vision is a cycle of works by ECHELON tenor Linard Vrielink. The work deals with the chronology of life, but not, as one might expect, from birth to the end, but backwards, starting from death. Always present in the work is the idea of light, which plays a role both in the reflection on life and on death. Between the seven movements of the cycle, chorales by Bach on the same theme can be heard. The moments of seeing are sung by the four up-and-coming singers Vrielink, Mihelač, Kutny and Rosenius, who met in the opera studio at the Staatsoper Berlin and can now be heard on international stages with ECHELON.
