The program of the young Berlin ensemble presents two stylistically contrasting pieces, both inspired by famous paintings: La barque mystique (1993) by the French spectralist Tristan Murail and the powerfully rhythmic The Card Players (2018) by Magret Wolf. These are accompanied by two world premieres by composers of the very young generation. Both received their training in Berlin, among other places: Saemi Jeong and Sébastien Vaillancourt.
