Eternal youth, immortality, cryopreservation - who dreams of a long life? A conversation about medical possibilities between science fiction and reality, about privileges and class criticism.
Many people wish for eternal youth and lasting health. Some of them even long for immortality and want to be frozen. The possibilities of medicine today are sometimes reminiscent of science fiction scenarios. What potential does the freezing of neonatal cells and tissues hold? What is behind preventive care in cryosleep? Who decides on the further development of modern technologies and who benefits from them? And what do privileges, growth constraints and class criticism have to do with it?
