Ein IGLU für uns Alle: offener Beitragsabend

In the organizer's words:

The IGLU is celebrating its 5th birthday this summer! During this time, we have accomplished a lot and we are very proud of how the IGLU has developed and stabilized with the help of all our members and volunteers.

We want to celebrate this at our contribution evening / supporter evening / Supporti evening and at the same time look to the future together.
On Thursday, April 18, you can look forward to an insight into community-based management. What is it? Where does it come from? And how can it change our society?
We will then offer a look behind the scenes and talk about our last year and our plans for the future.
At the end of the evening we will have a round of contributions. IGLU members as well as new members can decide to support the IGLU with a fixed and regular contribution to keep us going.

The background:
We want to become more stable and less dependent on our fluctuating donation-based income and financial bottlenecks. As a small non-profit organization with few financial and human resources, the pressure to consume, which we do not want to support, presents us with major challenges. For a year now, we have been operating our barter room on a community basis. People become IGLU members and support us regularly with their donations. This gives us reliable security and allows us to focus on our projects and educational work. And our members can see directly what happens with their support.
