The merits of Michael Succow

Author and Michael Succow biographer Christiane Grefe has set herself the task of putting Michael Succow's "adventure of a lifetime" between two book covers. His experiences and insights as a landscape ecologist, father of the national park program of the "still-GDR" and winner of the Alternative Nobel Prize, which are recorded in this book, form the focus of the evening. The panel discussion will be framed by excerpts from the film documentary "Wie geht Natur?!", which was produced by nature conservation and civic engagement expert Kathrin Succow in 2025.
