A rousing evening full of great opera moments: resonant choirs, famous arias and musical surprises take the audience on a journey through the world of opera - lively, colorful and full of joie de vivre. Especially in turbulent times, this concert is a symbol of confidence, community and the unifying power of music.
Under the direction of Kazuo Kanemaki, works by Bernstein, Bizet, Borodin, Mascagni, Nicolai, Verdi and Wagner will be performed. A special highlight is the German premiere of excerpts from the Japanese opera The Story of the Young Whale Couple by Nishishita Kohei.
