Edith Piaf was an elemental force at 1.47 m tall, a delicate person with the voice of a giantess. She is anchored in our memories through her singing and the unique interpretation of her chansons and also because of her eventful and intense life. She was resilient in the face of adversity and had an almost cathartic effect on her audience. Songs and biographical material have now been interwoven in this program and offer many surprising stories that provide many unknown insights into her life and work.
