Saturday at Schick: EinKlang Open Session
During the fall and winter months, the Open Sessions transform Schick Mainz into a hub of electronic sounds, dance, and community. Amid casual get-togethers and long nights on the dance floor, a space emerges where up-and-coming DJs spin alongside the EinKlang residents. The format creates opportunities for networking, creative exchange, and the shared enjoyment of electronic music.

Since 2021, EinKlang has been working as a nonprofit cultural association to promote the electronic music scene in the Rhine-Main region. Through a diverse range of event formats—from open-air events on the banks of the Rhine to campus events at JGU Mainz and indoor sessions with community slots, all the way to its own festival stages—the association creates non-commercial spaces for connection, cultural exchange, and electronic music. The vision is to counteract the decline of clubs and create places that serve as safe spaces open to everyone.
