The door is closed and all questions are unanswered. An abandoned stage room and lots of traces behind that door offer room for wild speculation and hair-raising fantasies about what might have happened before or could happen. Combined with the question of whether this should not be prevented. Riddle after riddle for the four performers. This thriller-like play development is a plea for more mutual trust and playful freedom.
Road traffic, kitchen, forest, playground: dangers for children lurk everywhere, the potential risk is huge. There are fewer and fewer places where children can play unsupervised. The radius within which children can roam is getting smaller and smaller. Together with this, the opportunity to learn how to deal with danger through play and experience self-efficacy is disappearing. But what do children actually do when they are playing freely and unobserved? How dangerous is it really? Or: What do adults think children do when they play alone and what dangers are they exposed to?
