Picture book cinema: Eisbjörn the mouse is rescued by the old lighthouse keeper Gustav on a stormy autumn night. He is allowed to stay with him in the lighthouse and the two soon become good friends. But one day Gustav falls ill. So ill that he is unable to light the light in the lighthouse that evening. That night, of all nights, a storm comes up and a full ship sets course for the coast. The fate of the sailors lies solely in Eisbjörn's hands! A race against time begins for the little mouse ... A fantastic adventure in impressive pictures by Lev Kaplan.

Max Kaplan brings stories to life with his picture book cinemas. While he reads, the detailed illustrations by his father, Lev Kaplan, are projected large onto the wall - creating a space for discovery and imagination.

His events are more than simple readings: Max asks questions, encourages the children to think further and invites them to actively participate. In this way, they not only experience the story, but also engage with the book as a medium in all its dimensions. At the end, things get creative - the children draw their own ideas or invent new twists to the story.
