"A Different Kind of Journey", Eivind Aarset promises to take us on a different kind of journey in his current program. The sound tinkerer from Norway, who since his collaboration with trumpeter Nils Petter Molvær at the end of the 1990s can be counted among the avant-garde of new Scandinavian jazz, likes to tell unusually weird stories on the guitar. Repeating himself is a horror to the 63-year-old: "There's no point in doing the same things over and over again."
