3 DAYS TO LIBERATION II
(statement and program)
December 12-14, 2025
Conceived & curated by Maryam Palizban
Presented by CONSTANZA MACRAS / DORKY PARK
With 3 Days to Liberation II, Maryam Palizban continues her collaboration with Constanza Macras and her ensemble, which began with the piece Electrodomestics.
Electrodomestics is a lively and inspiring mix of a cooking show, a concert, a performance, an expert panel and dance, in which the group explores the concepts of cultural background and identity. Based on the performers' social circles - family and friends - the group uses their social environments to explore phenomena such as collectivity and nationality.
The audience is included in the discussion and thus introduced to their own boundaries and stigmas, but also to unexpected openness. The boundaries between performer and audience become blurred, and together space is created for exchange, togetherness and spontaneous, creative outbursts.
Directed and choreographed by Constanza Macras
