Over the past 100 years, electronic components have shrunk to microscopic dimensions, are more powerful than ever and are now in constant use almost everywhere. On the stylized floor plan of a circuit board, five different areas in the exhibition show how the "science of controlling electric current" has become an indispensable part of our lives.
Icons of electronics such as the original Apple 1, the first LED and the first electromechanical sensor are presented on slender columns. In addition, the basics are taught, electronics in transition and their anchoring in society are shown. The production section covers what components are made from and how they are manufactured. And last but not least, a giant "scrap metal tornado" symbolically whirls through the throwaway society in the recycling section.

For individual visitors and small groups of up to five people, guided tours, demonstrations, science shows and hands-on programs in various exhibitions take place daily, free of charge and without registration.
