With a double concert by Stuttgart singer-songwriters Elena Seeger and Simone Stahl, the Feierabendkollektiv will open the new season of Feierabendgartenkonzerte at Villa Jo Obertürkheim on Friday, June 17, 2026. Two voices, two guitars - and an evening together full of wit, warmth and resistance.
Elena Seeger writes songs that build entire worlds out of small everyday moments. Her lyrics are playful, clever and warm - sometimes tender, sometimes biting, always with a twist of the absurd. Between jazz chords, folk echoes and idiosyncratic dialect, she takes her listeners on thoughtful walks through life. Her new program "Laubbläserlyrik" sounds like an open window: irony whistles through the room, doubt grins in briefly - and somewhere the neighbor hums along. Seeger has been recognized for her unmistakable language and attitude, most recently with the Baden-Württemberg Cabaret Prize and the State Prize for Dialect Music. But more important to her than trophies is what happens on stage: honest encounters, spontaneity and that one moment when everything becomes very easy.
Simone Stahl plays with opposites: Vagabond and cozy, grounding and fantasy. Her current program "Robbers & Ravens" tells of journeys - into the depths, not into the distance. With great sensitivity and an undisguised tone, she takes her audience on little escapes from everyday life and shows how close knowledge and comedy can be.
Together, Seeger and Stahl form a spontaneous pop-up duo between spontaneity and poetry in the garden of Villa Jo. The evening is more than just a concert - a lovingly handmade encounter, supported by the voluntary commitment of the Feierabendkollektiv and the magic of a Stuttgart summer evening.
