Finally. "FINALLY IT HURTS AGAIN". Finally that pain is back. After such a long time, there's that feeling again that you've been longing for so much. That you've been looking forward to. That you've been waiting for forever. Full of anticipation in the face of the emotions that come with it. Sensing something, feeling something - even if it's just pain. "IT FINALLY HURTS AGAIN". "This album is a bit different from the previous ones," says ELIF - and you immediately believe her. "The creation was a real process. I didn't just write song after song, I let the title of the album guide me."

On "NACHT", her third album, with which the singer entered the official charts at number 7 in September 2020, she impressively processed the experiences and insights of recent years. Her burnout, the separation from her label and management, the end of a toxic relationship, her therapy, the confrontation with herself and what was - all of this flows into this album in 2020 after three years of radio silence. Without any filters or false bottoms.

A good year later, the number 1 for the collabo single "HIGHWAY" with Katja Krasavice follows, as well as a nomination for the 2021 Pop Culture Award and participation in the "Free ESC" for Turkey. With her concert as part of the "O2 Priority" series in the same year, ELIF set new standards for live stream concerts in Germany. Away from the stage, she can also be seen as a coach on the 11th season of "The Voice of Germany" and is in front of the camera together with colleagues such as Clueso, Johannes Oerding and Lotte as part of the 9th season of "Sing mein Song" in South Africa. But despite all this success, ELIF continues to work on herself, reflecting and growing.

The result of this journey to herself and her own emotions is the album "ENDLICH TUT ES WIEDER WEH". Above all, it is an album about loss and how to deal with it. ELIF lost people close to her during the creation process. "BOMBERJACKET" begins with a reminiscence of days long gone that floats through the singer's life like a ghost.

ROSES", "BEIFAHRERSITZ" and "ICH DENK AN DICH" are all about missing, nostalgia and melancholy. At the same time, tracks like "LONELY" and "MEIN BABE" bring out the humorous side of the album. "ENDLICH TUT ES WIEDER WEH" is also an album about dealing with all these experiences, adventures and emotions. Nowhere is this clearer than in the impressive outro "UNENDLICHKEIT".

Yes, "ENDLICH TUT ES WIEDER WEH" is an album about pain. But about pain as something familiar that has been there before, that has almost become routine.
Pain as something you have learned to deal with. That you no longer allow to hurt you, that no longer brings you to your knees. It's pain that you accept, that you embrace, that you live with. Each and every one of us. "I hope that the album inspires people to go deeper and deal with their own emotions or pain."
